Please note: Students are not required to participate in a workshop in order to attend the following career fairs, but students will feel much more prepared and get more successful results by attending a workshop. The workshops are free to attend, but registration is requested.

Prepare for the Career Expo and Education Fair during the month of February by attending one of these preparation workshops.
Learn what to expect from a career fair, how to research the employers and graduate schools that will be attending the fair, and how to interact and follow up with employers and representatives. These workshops will provide tips on ways to make your virtual career fair experience successful for networking and searching for jobs, internships, or graduate schools.
The main topics of the workshop include:
- employer expectations of students and alumni
- how to navigate Handshake and prepare yourself technologically
- how to talk to the employers
- how to update your Handshake profile and upload resume and what to offer at the career fair
