Walk-in hours

Walk-in hours will not be available during the summer.  If you need assistance, please contact our office at 417-836-5636 to schedule an appointment.

Walk-in hours are staffed by the Career Center's highly trained Peer Advisors. Peer Advisors provide the following assistance:

  • Review résumés and cover letters and provide information on how to create these documents 
  • Supply information on the Career Center programs, services, and resources

Class of 2013 Job Outlook - a report from NACE

Respondents to the Job Outlook 2013 survey are reporting that they plan to hire 13 percent more new college graduates in 2012-13 than they did in 2011-12. Hiring appears to be on the upswing as this year’s anticipated increase is higher than both the original and final hiring projections for the Class of 2012.
