Career Expo 2017 preparation workshops

Career Expo 2017 is Tuesday, February 28. Prepare for the fair by attending a preparation workshop.

Learn what to expect from a career fair, how to research the employers and graduate schools that will be attending the fair, and how to interact and follow up with employers and representatives. These workshops will provide tips on ways to make your career fair experience successful for networking and searching for jobs, internships, or graduate schools.

Please note: Students are not required to participate in a workshop in order to attend the career fair, but students get more successful results by attending a workshop. The workshops are free to attend, but registration is requested. To register, click on the JobTracks ID for the session you would like to attend. Education Day preparation workshops

Education Day is Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Get ready for this career fair by attending a preparation workshop.

These workshops provide tips on ways to make your career fair visit a successful experience of networking and meeting school administrators and representatives.

The main topics of the workshop include—

  • employer expectations of students and alumni
  • how to talk to the employers
  • appropriate attire for the career fair
  • what to bring with you to the career fair
