Application Process Requirements:

1. Contact the Legislative Internship Program Administrative Assistant (417.836.5636), to find out more about the program and schedule a 30 minute screening appointment.

2. Schedule a one-hour appointment with the Missouri State Legislative Intern Coordinator (417.836.5636), to discuss the program in detail and receive your application packet.

3. Submit the following to the Legislative Intern Coordinator:

• Cover letter explaining why you wish to participate in the program and what you hope to achieve from the experience
• Résumé
• Current transcripts from the Office of the Registrar (Carrington 320)
• One reference letter. Examples of letters are available in the Career Center (Carrington 309) and on the left side of this page.

4. Schedule an interview with the six-member faulty/staff panel through the Legislative Internship Coordinator or Administrative Assistant.
