Receive a quick review and tips on your résumé. All-day event held twice a semester in various locations around campus. Bring a hard copy of your résumé and visit with a member of the Career Center staff. More information
Mock Interview Day
All day event held each fall. Sign up for a time slot that works with your schedule and go through a mock interview with a representative from an area employer or Career Center member. More information
Held in the spring, the Networking Etiquette Dinner is an opportunity for students and alumni to network with employer sponsors while learning proper etiquette for a business meal. Dinner includes soup, salad, entree with a vegetable, starch, rolls, and dessert. Vegetarian meals are available upon request. More information
Speed Networking Event
This event will assist students in being more prepared to network and learn how to access the hidden job market. Alumni and employees from local businesses will participate in an hour of networking during the “Speed Networking” sessions and provide students the opportunity to further network with those in their career field. International Students Workshop
In this workshop, presenters discuss job-search tips and strategies for international students who are interested in working in the U.S. after graduation. While the workshop is geared toward international students, everyone is welcome to attend.
Career Power Hour
The Career Power Hour offers career guidance and tips to students in the comfort of their academic building. Students receive assistance with résumés, cover letters, interviewing, career counseling, and more. If you have a career or job search topic you would like to discuss, come to Career Power Hour.
Career Expo 2016
The annual spring career fair open to all students and alumni from all majors. The employers in attendance are national, regional and local companies from all industries, excluding the field of education. These employers will be looking for full-time and part-time employees, as well as interns. This career fair is sponsored in consortium with Drury University, Evangel University, Southwest Baptist University, and College of the Ozarks. Information for students and alumni. Physical Therapy Career Fair
Hosted by Missouri State University Career Center and the Physical Therapy Department, this career fair provides the opportunity for students who are pursuing careers in physical therapy to meet employers from hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities who are actively recruiting physical therapists. Community Involvement Fair
Co-sponsored by the Career Center, Community Involvement & Service, Citizenship and Service-Learning, and Public Affairs Support, the Community Involvement Fair enables community agencies to foster relationships with Missouri State University student volunteers, student organizations, and faculty and staff.

Sciences Career Fair Reversal – College of Natural & Applied Sciences
In collaboration with the College of Natural and Applied Sciences and the Science Living-Learning Community, the Career Center is conducting the second annual Sciences Career Fair Reversal event on October 27, 2015.
This activity is guaranteed to provide you great benefit as you will meet with employers and learn about job/internship opportunities, be able to discuss different career options, and gain information on how to enter their industry during college or after graduation. Learn more on JobTracks.
